MSC World Asia to Debut in Europe

MSC Cruises has announced that its latest World Class ship, MSC World Asia, will debut in the Mediterranean in December 2026. This marks the third vessel in MSC’s World Class series, following MSC World Europa and the upcoming MSC World America.

Starting on December 11, 2026, MSC World Asia will offer seven-night Western Mediterranean cruises. The itinerary includes stops in Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Civitavecchia (Rome), Messina, and Valletta, with embarkation available at each port.

Bookings for these voyages are now open, providing travelers the opportunity to experience MSC’s latest flagship in one of the world’s most popular cruising regions.

Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises, stated,

“We have chosen to deploy our latest flagship in the Western Mediterranean as it is our most popular region. MSC World Asia will further enhance our lineup in the region, giving guests even more choice of embarkation ports and itineraries for their winter escape or summer holiday.”

As with each of MSC’s new ships, MSC World Asia is expected to introduce innovative concepts, venues, and services to deliver an exceptional cruise experience. The ship will be powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG) and equipped with advanced environmental technologies, underscoring MSC’s commitment to sustainable cruising.

You can look forward to exploring the Mediterranean aboard this state-of-the-art vessel, blending modern luxury with eco-friendly innovations.
